Autumn Music

September seems to always bring a rush of new albums. I enjoy something new to listen to when the seasons change, and this month has been a great one for new albums from artists that I already love:

My soul is happy!

Best Of British

It was last year that I first heard of these British artists and I've been playing their music ever since. The weather lately has been gloriously warm and sunny and these tunes seem to fit the early spring beautifully. I thought I'd share them with you. First up is Ben Howard, with his album Every Kingdom. I love it.  He hails from Devon so that make him extra special!

My favourite song from the album is 'The Wolves', I could play it on repeat for hours:

Tuesday's Smile Lines

After winning a cd of the fabulous band The Lower Lights from this lovely lady, it's been played a fair bit in my house.  Rosie walked in during the introduction of Israel, Israel God Is Calling and asked: 'Is this The Beatles?'.  Hysterical laughter ensued.

The children have taken to stealing my snuggly socks of an evening and even Noah got in on the act; dancing in pyjamas is enhanced when wearing them it seems:

This morning I rolled over in bed feeling depressed, the rain free September has gone and it was dark and wet outside. Then I remembered that these two albums are out today and jumped out of bed!
