Here is why I've had no exciting news to share with you lately: I've been decorating, clearing out rooms, having carpet fitted, putting the junk back in the rooms, decorating, cleaning, organising... and more decorating! The four day Easter weekend was spent doing Rosie's bedroom (with Sunday off of course!). I had to redo the curtains/blind (I'd like to question the 'genius' who designed Rosie's window, how are you supposed to hang curtains?) and I made the bunting:
When I'm next asked how I fit three boys into one room I ought to show them this photo! I put the triple bunk together last weekend while James was at work. Ben was my very handy assistant, passing me tools and telling me it would be so much quicker if I could find the electric screwdriver. Yeah. It would've been. I updated my secret weapon of order and organisation: The Ikea Trofast system... that is how I fit three boys into one bedroom!
And just because you haven't seen my living room for four years, here it is:
I still need to do some more work on the living room, I'm going to re-upholster the two seater sofa in red and put some more artwork on the walls. Please come and visit it for Christmas!

Annie - it's the best! My priority when sofa shopping was to have one that a family of six could squeeze on to watch movies. It will look even better when I get some of your cushion covers on there!
yay! i have the one still that you wanted, so just give me a few days to make the other (i have a crazy week!) and figure out shipping costs. then i'll post them as a custom order for you. do you want to go with the mid-range shipping? or the cheapest? the cheapest shipping can sometime take a million years to cross the ocean but other times not, so it's up to you.

As for shipping, I am trying to figure out a way to avoid customs and import tax... which is pretty high! Are etsy sales classed as a commercial sale? If they are, could you please post them separately on the cheaper shipping fee as I will be charged customs duty and import tax on items with a value over 18 pounds sterling.
If etsy is not classed as a commercial sale, could you post the pillows to me together on a mid range shipping price as long as it's labelled as a gift (I am allowed items up to the value of 40 pounds sterling.)
