Two Long Years

I am giddy with excitement today and it has nothing to do with the holidays or the glorious sun we are having! Two years ago James' job changed to a home/road based one, which has been lovely for us as we see a lot more of him. The downside is that our home is small and we have no spare rooms to turn into an office...James has been using our dining table, window sill, chairs and floor as his office. This is what a typical day looks like in my living room:
The children have adapted to being quiet when they get in from school, daddy is on the phone to clients A LOT and they play in their bedrooms or outside. They even eat their dinner around the computer while James and I eat at the sofa. Last year I had made an office space in our bedroom to move James upstairs but his work provided the Internet line and we spent months trying to get the information we needed to get him working wirelessly, but without success.  I was starting to get desperate but after talking to a techie friend of ours I discovered that by spending under £30 I could get the Internet upstairs myself without a wireless modem! As soon as James left this morning I hooked everything up and moved him to his new office space. I can't believe all his things fit in this little space:
My living room is back to normal:
The children were so excited to eat at a clear table and make as much noise as they liked. They watched TV without headphones, played on the Wii and ran in and out of the living room all afternoon. I even played my music extra loud in the kitchen! I AM SO HAPPY!
