Oh, Look What You've Done

We've been a little busy this last week, it's been half term and we've managed to keep entertained by squeezing ourselves into boxes:
The children really wanted to see where I hike twice a week, and despite the rain and distance they insisted upon donning their raincoats and exploring the countryside. I was so proud of them all, the six miles usually takes me two hours and the children managed it in just under three, with only one five minute break and no moaning! We saw possibly the smallest pony ever:
...had a brief sit down:
...and enjoyed looking at a randomly placed propeller:
The children then had the pleasure of my mum looking after them while I took a road trip here for a couple of days:
With the gorgeous Gemma and Asenath:
During our journey home we stopped at Fleet services for dinner, and I spied this AWESOME homemade knitted top and skirt which I just had to share with the world:
We managed to squeeze in a photo shoot of the children on friday and a few hours at a play centre. I spent the whole of Saturday with the youth at convention... and we ended the evening with a medieval feast and a dance. (Check out the little video of the hall we decorated below, complete with a real pig's head in the middle!) The children spent the day with daddy and enjoyed a Halloween party in the evening. They declared it to be the best half term ever, and I have to agree!
